The short story: We outgrew our name. Tilda was a tool to help you plan change based on science. Shiftic is the system for running change until it sticks. Changing our name is a reflection of what we've become and where we're going - the system built to make change stick.
The long story:
Back in the early 2010s we were working across industries with learning and change. And we were struck by the enormous amount of time and money going into change initiatives, about $300B a year, and how little actually changed afterwards.
The frustration grew and we learnt that the methods being used broadly - E-learnings, information overload - simply didn't help people to change.
That's when we decided to transform the way change is done and make it work.
About 10 years later when AI became something we could play with, we realised we finally had the technology to help people drive change faster, with greater impact - at scale.
And we started building together with some of Sweden’s largest companies and their employees.
Worked closely with some of the most experienced change leaders.
We partnered with the research institute RISE.
And then Tilda came to life.
At first, we focused on helping L&D plan learning to increase impact. But that narrow focus didn’t last for long. Their colleagues kept asking, “this is exactly what we need, can we try this too?”
This is where things started to shift. The use cases kept expanding.
— IT leads used Tilda to roll out new systems.
— Communications teams to implement new strategies.
— HR partners to shift culture.
— Leaders to implement new ways of working
— Project managers to run transformations.
— Consultants used Tilda with their clients.
We realised that what they all had in common was the need to drive behavior change.
Starting from the root cause, we built a way to handle what needs to change, how to change it, how to see if it’s working, and what to do next.
This became bigger than a tool and deserved a name that matched what it had become.
Shiftic is the system for running behavior change.
The name comes from two ideas, the shift that needs to happen, and the intelligence that makes it stick. Enter: Shiftic.
Shiftic gives everyone driving change the structure, guidance, and intelligence to design, activate, and measure behavior shifts, so change actually happens and doesn't waste time, money, or momentum.
Our ambition is to support the entire change journey: plan, predict impact, produce, activate, measure, learn, adapt and get better every time.
Organizations have never invested more in change. And looking ahead it will only be accelerating. At the same time, more people are expected to make that change happen.
That’s the reality we’re building for.
And we’ll continue doing it in collaboration with our growing community of clients, users, and partners.
Because if people can change, so can businesses and the planet.
Join us.

Every initiative you run in Shiftic now collects insights: What worked, what didn't, what to do differently next time. Your change capability grows every time.
Available on Team, Business and Enterprise Plans.

Most change efforts stop listening once they launch. But change doesn’t stop at launch, it starts there.
That’s why we built the Impact Loop. It tells you what’s landing and what’s not, so you can adapt, keep momentum, and reach the behavior change you’re working towards.
You can now also track the status of each intervention — from draft to approved to delivered — so your whole team stays on the same page and nothing falls through the cracks.

Everything you create can now be exported — as editable Word documents. Export one initiative or just selected elements. Use them in presentations, send them to stakeholders, drop them into your existing systems in an easy way.

We know language matters. Now you can choose Swedish as a language across the whole platform, not just in one project.

When sharing projects, you can now assign different roles to collaborators, each with specific permissions.
This makes it easier to collaborate effectively and safely. Give team members Editor access to work together on projects, or share with stakeholders as Viewers so they can follow progress without accidentally modifying your work.
Owner – Full control over the project, including editing, renaming, deleting, and managing access
Editor – Can edit project content and manage who has access, but cannot rename or delete the project
Viewer – Read-only access with no editing or sharing capabilities
Click the sharing button in your project to share and assign roles.

It's now even easier to get content out of Shiftic and into the tools you use to deliver your learning and change initiatives.
We will be adding more specific tool templates in the coming weeks and months, but for now you can build prompts and content for Articulate Rise 360, Intellum Evolve, Copilot for PowerPoint, and Mentimeter.

A bit of a meta one here as you are reading this whilst already within the Featurebase app!
But we've now rolled Featurebase out to all users. Which is the new support chat featuring an AI support bot (and humans when needed), an evolving help center, and the ability to give us feedback as well.

A small but much requested feature.
When you're working in a step-by-step intervention, Shiftic will now continually calculate the total time of that intervention and warn you if your steps are misaligned with the total time.
See this right at the top. You can just click once and update.

Hey! Time for your Shiftic releases from the last 2 weeks. We’ve been keeping up the pace of new features and UI improvements, improved some stability in document upload and processing, and made general speed and reliability updates in many different areas.

Now it's easier to get straight into building from the dashboard. You can either work at a high level in the brief by defining what needs to change, hop into the plan, and ideate your journey or get straight into develop a single activity or intervention.
You can also just write in this text box and it will take you to where you need to go.

With the different layers you can work out in Shiftic, brief, plan, intervention, materials, we’ve now made it easier to move between these levels.
You have the breadcrumbs at the top of the screen and now also some simple back buttons to make things even clearer.

Now with the new three ways to start on the dashboard, you'll sometimes find yourself creating a project before having named the project.
So now when it feels it has enough information to come up with a name, Shiftic will suggest a name for your intervention or project. You can accept, adjust, or get more ideas.

Now when you preview a suggestion from Shiftic, you can manually select and deselect all of those suggested changes and only apply the specific ones you want to to your project.

If your organization has custom profiles built, you can now change a custom profile whilst you're building a project.
Click on the custom profile icon to open a drop-down menu where you can choose which profile you want.

Tilda will then guide you through adapting your plan to align with this new audience and goals.
